Does anyone have any recommendations for installers or dealers for audio in the Philadelphia region, preferrably Delaware or Chester counties? I will be getting a head unit and all speakers, maybe a new amp. I am always afraid of crappy techs F-ing up my car--it's happened to me before.

If you want, I can help you out on your install. I have done most of the installs in my tour. As a fellow CEGer you know I would take just as much care in helping you out. I live in Jersey though, about 20 min outside of Philly. If you want me to help you out, just let me know

I certainly could use the help and could us the instructional session as well. I don't have anything special. I live outside an hour 20 outside of Philly (Allentown) but I'd make the trip. And I'd gladly throw in a case of beer or whatever!! >=D

There is a great car audio shop in Bryn Mawr on Lancaster Ave. called Goodman Audio - the guys there are real knowledgeable and do great installs

The only thing that I can not do is run a 4 channel amp only because I have no idea how in the hell to get the speaker wire into the doors. It has been confusing me for quite a while. Speakers and HU's are simple and a sub amp isnt too hard either (just run the speaker wire 2 feet from the amp to the sub box). I don't mind helping you out, send me an email and we can talk. davel@drexel.edu

Run the speaker wire from the amp through the normal condoit to the speakers or through the air conditioning vent and then down into the door.
