There is an actuall fix it kit for the dash, ask them about the TSB recall kit for the dash...that might help you. Unless thats what they did...im replacing my whole dash my self...IM going to see if my freind can do a Fiberglass one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the law that if you have something fixed under a recall and it goes bad again they have to fix it? No matter how long its been?

If this works out, maybe a GB can be arranged. Your friend could make a mold & crank out 20 or perhaps more $$$ .

Have him think about it, maybe you could post a poll to gauge interest. There should be several 1999s like mine that were not covered under the dash recall.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I am currently fighting with ford about my dash. They say that they never issued a recall on my VIN. If anyone gets any updates on how to fix this let me know.
Thanks ahead of time.

you can buy the repair kit from ford and install it yourself in under 1-1/2 hours.

did my roomates a few months ago, fairly straightforward and easy to do.

unfortunatly i dont know the part number.
call bill jenkins, he prolly knows the number by heart!
