I filled 3 quarts in mine.. probably came out to like 2.7 something.. with no overspill.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

By the way, I have a friend who recommended that I changed the gasket to the tranny pan while I'm at it. What do you guys recommend? Also, our CSVT don't have a tranny fluid filter correct?!?

There is no tranny pan or tranny pan gasket on an MTX. No trans filter on an MTX either. Your friend may have had brain fade.

I used the Redline MTL and it makes for super smooth shifts. I used a funnel I got at pep boys that had a hose attached to it. This worked perfectly. You can just snake it down from above and stick it in the fill hole. And both my cars just took over 2 quarts. You may want to do a search for the Redline MTL there should be a few posts on it. I think it made a big difference over mobil 1 with out the friction modifier.
