Hell, come down here this fall and you can shoot one off my front porch! The SOB's are tearing up my fence lines and I am sick of them!
I can't wait until November!

If they're really a problem,,,,, wild animals aren't that hard to kill, even if it's illegal or not even with a gun.

Not to hijack the thread....
DNR are major d!cks here. I cannot get a farm hunt permit because I do not raise crops. Never mind that horses getting loose sucks, and the deer urine causes "moon blindness" in the horses. Too damn many DNR officers here, since I live next to a Nat'l Forest and a state park, to start shooting them out of season, too.

I was getting at that you don't have to shoot them to kill them. Do they have like a certain amount of crop you have to grow to get a permit or could you just plant a decent size vegetable garden? Tell them you would grow something but you know the deer would just eat it and tear it up.

I wish. It doesn't work that way here. A garden does not count. West Virginia, for very good reason, is protective of the deer crop. Many of out-of-state hunters come here, this is a well managed herd for sport, there are very strict rules and they are enforced. And other methods, be they traps or poison, are not possible raising horses or any livestock. None the less, the little b@stards are mine in November! I probably will bow hunt, too, to increase my limit.

Check out this site for classy automotive stuff http://www.carguyart.com/index.cfm. I've never bought anything off of there, but they have some cool looking stuff. I was thinking of looking for something new for my office. Also, check out the art section in e-bay...there may be something that strikes your fancy.

Can you become a hay farmer? (Just let the grass grow long enough and have another farmer cut and bale it?)
I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
