Come on Saturday, hopefully at least. I'll finally be without an IMPORT. YEAH!! AMERICAN MUSCLE!! I hope I'll have it that is. My dad and I started it up a couple days ago, and it turned right over and ran like it had never been parked. OH YEAH!! Anyway, hopefully I'll have it insured by next week so I can bring it. OH YEAH!! I'm so excited. I'm desperately searching for insurance on it. Here's a pic for those that want to see it...

I'm not in DFW but thats a nice car. Back in 95 or 96 I found a red 1970 Skylark convertable for 3800. The guy I took to look at with me said not to get it because the top had a tear in it. It also a some other minor problems. I should have bought it anyway. It would have been nice to have.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

The only thing I don't like is the 10-13 mpg on a good day. Lay into it and you get 4-6 mpg. I've ripped off the vinyl top and the interior is next. Then the restoring starts.

OUCH! And it probably really needs premium, right?
Looks like it's going to be a sweet ride without a whole lot of effort. Congrats!

I have the 350-2 right now. I have a 4 barrell for it and the intake manifold. Just trying to find somebody that knows how to do it, or can help me learn how to do it. My father has the shop manual sitting at his house, just have to drive out there and gank it.
Anyway, I would like to drop a 455 in it. My father has a 1970 Buick Electra with the 455 in it, and well, if the 350 ever blows, or if I have the money, I'm going to take that engine and transmission and drop it into the Skylark. The Electra doesn't exactly run right now. That would be OH SO NICE though!!!
It is definitely a fun car.
