Did you take the chrome strip off the car to apply the bondo and then paint it? If so, how did you take it off (and put it back on)? In the process off taking it off/putting it back on, did the strip bend, or did the bondo get cracks in it from any bending? Also, I am assuming you sanded the area where the Bondo was applied.
Finally, did you do any prep work on the strip before painting, or did you just paint straight on it? What type of paint was used?
Sorry for all the questions....but I took out the Ford emblem like 2 years ago, and then covered the chrome strip with chrom black-out tape. It looks decent for a temporary solution, put 2 years has been too long for temporary!
I was thinking of getting niceboy's oval emblem for the rear, but I can't justify paying $50 for a filler oval (no matter how good it looks). I rather go the cheaper route using Bondo.
