Any of you guys BEEN in a coma? I have. Only for 37 hours, but I have. I was RUN OVER at age 12 & spent 3 months in traction & a body cast. My left leg to this day (28 years later) is still not quite right.

Turning this into a political issue is not going to get us anywhere. The fact that he woke up after 19 years may offer some insight into the whole "coma" thing & help medical science in the future.

If you wanna find a source of money to care for people in this situation, I would suggest we abort multi-million dollar studies like the one that sought to gauge the impact of cow farts on the ozone layer & its contribution to global warming. Nothin' we could do about it even if it had an impact on the ozone, so why bother? THAT is wasted money.
