What kind of engine did that have in that GN ? I've heard of them, but I'm really not that familiar with the car's specs.

Turbocharged 3.8L V6. I can't remember the hp & torque numbers...I think they varied by year/model.
The one in the video is twin-turbo'd.

3.8L SFI V-6
Fatory states 276HP and 360TQ, though that must have been with the slowest hunk O' junk GNX they could find to run numbers with, as most pull around 300HP+.
Zoom, zoom...
It's one of the few '80's cars I'd love to have.

Now here is an interesting comparison... That car put down 1076 at the back tires...
The ExViTermini Skyline put down 1350 spinning all four tires!
man, gotta love turbo cars... -mark

...in that case, it's probably "just" a GN that he put the wrench to. Not too many people screw about with their GNX's, as it would TOTALLY kill the resale, especially something like dropping a V8 into one...
There were only around 500 made, IIRC.

i forgot what mine was, just an 1987 GN with stupid GNX knockoff rims and fender slats and the wheel wells and stuff. basically one to look like a GNX, yet i never had GNX badges on it. it was weirder too, it had a Turbo T horn insert instead of the turbo 6, i dunno. bought for 4, sold for 8.

That's the coolest video I've ever seen!! You godda love the sound of a turbo.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!
