If we only focus on the bad things that have happened then we will have a negative outlook.
That is not to say that we shouldn't examine our mistakes and learn from them, but I guess I'm a glass is half full kinda guy and like to focus on the positive.
And that kinda goes into how I look at the numbers. Of course I'm sure part of it has to do with who is in the White House. Conservatives are largely happy and Liberals are largely unhappy. My gut tells me that Conservatives may not be as "proud" if the occupant of the White House was different.
I do also believe 9/11 has a lot to do with the upsurge in American Pride.
I'll have to add to this later, I have an conference call to join, and I guess I need to know what we are talking about.
