You don't have to know anywhere else. there is no need for comparisson.
We are all built like that. everybody is proud of their heritage. Of cours, when I say everybody that is not a LAW. some people are discontent and they simply hate. Others simply don't care. Whatever the reason. I am talking in general.
just as an example:
has anyone here ever met a Puerto Rican (sp ??) that wasn't patriot ?? 
How about a mexican ??
how about a jamaican ??
(not that there aren't)
But the point is: everybody loves their people, place, or whatever is the connection. Again, when I say EVERYBODY i mean in general.
My point is: u go anywhere in the world and place ths same question and you'll get almost the same results.
even if you post question in Venezuela or Argentina, where things are a little rough right now, you will probably get the same answer: they are proud to be whatever.
