But what about aftermarket wheels? The ones you can buy offline, or in a parts store? Momo, Sparco, APC, etc.?
Will any of those work? If they aren't made for a contour, then what kind of car can I buy one for that will still fit the Contour? I am thinking of just buying the closest one I can get and customizing it (safely and smartly of course) It it doesn't work, then it's back to stock.

Any aftermarket wheel will work. Grant/Momo/Sparco/APC etc.
Its just finding the hub adapter for it.
I used a grant hub kit for a 90 mustang. It had to be fabricated a little, but the wheel is on and not going anywhere. I think "momo" sells a kit, but its like $80.00
I personally didnt want to spend $250.00 (for the wheel and momo hub kit) Sooo.. I was cheap and just used the $15.00 grant kit.
