when my tranny was messed up "the first time" i couldnt get it into first ....so i was forced to take off in 2nd gear from lights quite a few times.....i have a centerforce d/f clutch and it grabbed very well.....wether i would launch on it though thats for someone else to find out...let me know when you do ....
