Now if some turbo'd 3L with a Torsen, 4.06 FD, and a adept clutch foot tried slipping 2nd gear from 5000-6000rpm and not be pissed off at me for shattering the stock cast flywheel would give it a try we may all see what would then happen.

Except for maybe a turbo'd car, no one is going to have enough torque to get the car moving fast enough before the engine bogs down badly.
Even then it would be one hell of a clutch slip.
