why does my car keep blowing the front hose off my dpfe sensor????????? i just put on a hi-flow cat.any help would be great i need the car in the morning to go to work.

I am also having a major power loss almost like the computer put it in a run safe mode is that possible???

don't know if this will help or not, did you change your cat because old one was clogging up? if so, your precats could be bad as well, and causing back pressure. I had trouble with mine about a year ago, and for replaced them under warranty.

Normally DPFE hose(s) coming off and loss of power would be a sure sign rear pre-cat is plugged. This would be covered under emissions warranty for 80k miles (US), 130,000 km (Canada).
In your case however, it would be highly suspect that your cat mod has caused the problem.

p.s. A more descriptive heading would perhaps have attracted more attention since all members initiating a thread in the Troubleshooting Forum generally need help.


Edit: Having now read your old thread, sounds like you should re-install old main cat and get pre-cats checked/replaced at dealer under emissions warranty.
