I know it's my head, but still spending 700 bucks on a helmet that I might be able to get cheaper elsewhere, well that doesn't makes sense. I have the money to spend 700 bucks on a helmet and not think twice about it, but I try not to be careless with my money.

I just ordered a full face helmet from the local autoX sponsor www.soloperformance.com $239 for an SA2000 full faced helmet. Not a bad deal. And I can pick it up, so no shipping. TB

I just called Gingerman to confirm the helmet requirements for our open track event. He said that M90 or SA90 is acceptable.
He also noted that the helmet must be in 'good shape'. No suprise there.
Obviously, if you are buying a new helmet, get the newest rating possible. I'm just happy to see my M90 helmet is still ok.
See everyone on May 2nd.
