I just installed a JVC KD-S6250 deck, Its 180w, and the fuse on it is 15amp. The problem is, my deck gets VERY hot, and it keeps blowing my accesory fuse in my car. The car fuse is only 7.5amp, I also think that I dont have a Stock amplifier because I cant find it under the glove box, and my sound is very crisp. Please somebody, help me out, I dont know what I have to do to fix it, its blown 2 fuses and im assuming that i will have to re-wire the whole thing???  please help guys.  thx.

one of three things... wires are grounding out, you wired it wrong, or defective. two of three are bad install.....

It sounds like you have the illumination and power wires backwards. The illumination wire goes to a 7.5 amp fuse (bottom row, 3rd from the left, i think). The power wire should be a 15 amp.

Doh! Yep, it looks like the stock radio fuse (#34) is only 7.5 amps. This is what the wires should look like...
Black/Green=Ground
Blue/Black= Switched power = Fuse #32 7.5A
Orange/Black=Constant (battery) Power = Fuse #34 7.5A
Blue/Red=Power Antenna
White/Green=Illumination
If you had the stock hi-power system, you will have a 30A fuse #25, if not... Do you use your cigarette lighter? If not, just splice into that line. It's a 15A fuse.

I know it is wired right, because bought a wiring harness from best buy, matched up the wires, and crimped. And I dont use my lighter, so I may do that if it blows again. Oh and I'm thinkin my car has the cheapest stereo kit that comes with it. Thx guys.

Have you checked to make sure no shorts exsist at the speakers. Did your factory radio have a problem? or are you just upgrading? Check for shorts and make sure you did not try to "bridge" the deck, HU's dont like that sort of thing.

When I first got the car, the front left speaker didnt work, then one day it started working, so I think it may have a short. I'll check that. And I dont think the HU is bridged, all I did was replace it and wired it up with a wiring harness from Best Buy. thx.
