I just wanted to ask whether your problem ever came back. After driving my car for a week with the check engine light on, I had Auto Zone to read my code. They said it was reading too lean and was not within manufacturing controls for fuel air metering(they failed to note the code number). Now driving the car today it finally died, just like before for no reason. The $800.00 plus dollars I spent already, appear to be wasted. If the shop was just guessing, I really wasted my money, because I could have done that. I might try your fix out of desperation. What do you think?
