I'm thinking it'll be safe, but I wanted to get a few opinions before I tried to blow up my favorite speakers, and here's why...
Alpine's flagship speakers all feature the same "recommended" RMS input rating, 50W. However, the amplifier they'll be using to drive said speakers in their S500 demo car -- the new MRV-F900 -- puts out 100W RMS per channel. So all things considered, including your opinions here, I'm gonna give it a shot, but I'm suing of they blow.
