go for it...i'm running infinity kappa 5.25"... they call for 80 rms max, but i'm running them off of a us acoustics USX 4085 (if i recall correctly, it pushes about 240 watts rms when bridged to 2 channels). No problems here for the past year. just watch the gains - to be safe, don't send the amp into clipping if you're going to double the recomended RMS rating.
