Wow, you must have all kinds of inside info, huh?? Lemme guess: Your friend's dad knows a guy who works for Ford and he told him all about it. Or maybe the dealer guy told you. Don't believe everything you hear. THAT IS NOT the '04. Period.

EDIT: Missed WorldTour's response setting it straight. Thank you, sir.

The smaller pulley allows the SC to run a higher PSI not spool up faster. Yes, the smaller pulley will run faster but it's not the quicker start-up but the higher PSI which gives you the extra power!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I thought I read somewhere that the new Lightnings (based on the current concept) wouldn't be out till December 2004.

Oh, and my choice would be the Lightning. I would rather have a truck that costs less (although it does have less room), is faster, has an awesome body kit, and usually isn't driven around by old rich guys.

Yep, that was "just" an 1/8 mile; a 7.47 1/8 mile at that. Must supercharged Cobra's generally run numbers like that.
