The difference between the Harley and the Lightning engine wise is that the Lightning has a smaller nose pulley allowing the supercharger to spool up faster.
The smaller pulley allows the SC to run a higher PSI not spool up faster. Yes, the smaller pulley will run faster but it's not the quicker start-up but the higher PSI which gives you the extra power!
