I may be getting a new vehicle in the future, and I want a truck since I've already got a car. Which does everybody prefer, Lightnings's or Harley F-150's?

Tough choice man. Obviously the Lightning is faster, but the chrome on those Harley's makes them look mmmmmm so good. I guess it would depend on whether you wanted something seriously fast and sporty, or something beautiful and classy. Obviously the Harley's aren't weak, but I don't know what the specs are on the HP/Torque. If you get the Harley, post some pics.

New HD f150 with the lightning engine in them (minus IIRC 30hp) do 13.9-14.1. Not slow at all. You would just be sacraficing a good looking and handeling truck for some extra room. I personally don't like the HD external appearence, but the interior is very nice.

Lightning:

Horsepower: 380 hp @ 4,750 rpm
Torque: 450 lb-ft @ 3,250 rpm

Harley

Horsepower: 340 hp @ 4,500 rpm
Torque: 425 lb-ft @ 3,250 rpm

So you are down about 40 HP and 25 Torque to the Lightning but I have read that with a few mods you are right back into the same HP/Torque range as the lightning so go with whatever you like the look of better.

Except that yellow interior is an eyesore.

i'd get the lightning because they look more sport.

BUT, you can get the Harley Edition as an extended cab or quad cab. my uncle has the quad cab and it is fuggin fast. you forget you're in a big honkin' truck when you stop the throttle. he also has an EXT extended with Keene-Bell supercharger...obnoxiously fast.

For me, it's a very easy choice- Lightning all the way.
