come on now guys, all this talk about tint and no mention of the mirror tint. im from michigan and ANY tint is illegal on the front windows, and it is 250 to get mirror at the bottom, 35%, the chrome fades from solid mirror at the bottom and black to the top, it looks [censored] awesome and if you guys want a prefiew of how bad ass it looks, heres a link http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=163562&make_type_query=make%3DFord&model_brand_query=model%3DContour&tree=Ford%20Contour. the thing is, dealerships are hard to find that will actually do it, i heard cops will make u pull off the tint right on the side of the road with a razor, but i still see alot of cars rolling around and people say they have never had a problem with it, tell me what you think

I think it looks cheesy.
Either get the smokded tint, titanium tint or platnium tine. That fade stuff and mirror tint looks cheesy.

Agreed. Full mirror or regular dark(35%-below). Don't get me wrong Overdrive00, yours isn't that bad. I've seen some pretty bad examples of the fading mirror tint:
Fading mirror on bottom for the doors, fading mirror on top of backglass... 
Mirror on rear doors only, front doors have no tint at all... 
Uneven fading tint(not at same level on both doors)
Green fading mirror tint on red truck(jingle bells?)

I'm going to disagree with the first two replies.
I think it looks great, especially on a silver car.

IF done correctly... mirror tint looks good on a silver car.. I have seen some pretty horrible jobs... but then again I have seen horrible black tint jobs too.

THANKS YOU OH GREAT ONE! hell yeah it looks good and my plans are now, (i make 500 every 2 weeks) next check get an alarm with remote started and proxy sensers so if anyone comes near or keys the car, it goes off, and then the week after that, silver tint (250) and an alright system, 2 12's and an amp, nothing fancy cuz this is a winter car, keep in mind its a SE not an SVT, my summer car is the Z28, anyways after that i'll save up for a month and hopefully some pics of the new body kit will finally [censored] come out, if anyone wants to set me straight on how this body kit thing is actually working feel free, who designed it, who is making it? how did it start, who the [censored] is the guy selling it, how is anyone for sure your going to actually get the kit after the money has been sent out?

there was a place on the internet i used to check out that had tint, i think it was called customtint.com or somethin, and they had a variety of percentages of tints and they looked good, i was thinking of getting the mirror tint in 35% cause 35% is the darkest we can get here but,i may have to up it some seeing how it's mirror tint, i'm thinkin maybe 50%, somethin similar to what's on the back windows of SUV's now, but that's on the bottom of the to do list so, that was my 2 cents, i'm done now lol take it easy guys

I have 45% silver tint all around. Its almost a phantom effect ... it just looks like slightly dark tint until the light hits it the right way, then it reflects brilliantly. It looks awesome in the evening or under more diffuse light conditions.

alright kevdog, the proxy sensers go off if anyone comes near OR keys the car, on a normal alarm system without proxy sensers, there isn't enough vibration when your car is getting keyed, to set the alarm system off, its an extra 50 bucks, and hte silver tint guy, your a pimp
