Im thinking to buy a nos set-up for my SVT, it's a wet kit with 50 hp shot, i wondered if anyone got some problem with this or if i use it correctly i would be ok, the last thing i want is to blow my engine again....would it be dangerous for the piston or the block?

Not to sound like a post nazi but this subject has been beaten to death. All you have to do to get all the answers you want is to use the search feature.

its all been covered before. I understand you want fresh opinions though. I would search to answer you questions and then post a question if it was not answered. People get sick of saying the same thing over and over.

IMO, I would go with a wet kit. the are 'more' dangerous. As long as you pay attention to your car, with only a 50hp shot you will be fine. IMO, if all you are going for is 50hp shot, then go dry. Hell in all honestly, I would think under 100hp go dry. I, myself ran a 50-80hp wet shot for a bit, then cats, and latter the motor went south and its been in the works since.

But what you need to do first is educate yourself on N2O. The only way to do that is educate yourself and lots of reading all over the net and buy a book too.

When used correctly, N20 is safe.
Read up about it (a real book, not just the net).
Properly tuned you can get alot of bang for your buck.
With a 75HP dry shot I cut 2+ seconds off my 1/4 mile.
(BTW, dry rates at the crank, wet rates at the wheels)
And for a low power shot, run a dry kit.
Add a few safety precautions (rpm cut-off switch, fuel pressure cut off switch) and you'll be safe.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Nitrous Oxide NO2? Oxide would designate the second oxygen molecule, right?
