When I get a CD, I typically listen to it so much in one place that I associate the CD with that place. For example, doing volunteer work in Washington, DC two years ago, I listened to the Kansas Greatest Hits all that week and now think of that trip everytime I hear those songs again.

Every time I listen to Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory, it reminds me of being in the Contour driving around town (because between junior and senior year that's practically all I did in my spare time .. drive around town listening to that CD). So I guess you can say that is my favorite.

If I owned the Safri Duo CD (still haven't bought it .. still intend to!), it would by far be my favorite CD. I have this little policy that if I like most or all of the songs of a CD I download, I buy the CD to support the musicians; that's how I ended up with both LP CD's and Evanescence CD. If I only like one or two of the songs I just keep that one or two and don't buy the CD.

The Apple Music Store is becoming intriguing, though I don't own an iPod yet. Legally owning "those one or two" songs ... nice ...

Dr. Octagon "Dr. Octagonecologyst"

hands down one of the best underground hip hop albums of all time. Kool Keith on the mic, Automator on the boards and Q-bert with the scratches are u kidding? phenomenal LP and definitely one of my favorites.

Rancid's "...and Out Come the Wolves"

Also, NOFX's "Punk in Drublic".
