Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Troubleshooting car ocassionaly hesitates to start (2 q's)

this first problem has only happened one time before that i know of
i came home, went in, came back out and (5min) the car was very hesitant to start

i kinda ignored it and then tonight i went to the corner store, got in, and it was really catching hell starting, it was truh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh, retry, truh ruh ruh ruh ruh *start* i been browsing the forums trying to see any posts with this sort of problem without much luck, so i thought i'd make a new topic

also, the brakes seem to grab, and sometimes it feels like the front (maybe left) pad seems to stick (can feel it kinda coming off when you back out, you feel it come off, have had the brake pads changed, but cant think of what could cause this

its a 2000 se 2.5l v6 auto with 51k

the sticky break could def be a stickly caliper. If your breaks are wearing drastically unevenly, then this would probably be the case.
As far as hard starting, of all the things, I can't actually remember anybody ever mentioning hard starting on a tour before.
