Its pretty much just the more signatures the better.
It started out they posted one of the "big-wigs" e-mail addresses, I guess he got about 1000+ e-mails in a matter of 24 hours. I suppose he probably didn't appreciate that too much!
I think it was a local listener that started the petition. I know I was #1277 so they are going on 1300+ signers as of 6:30 PM Central time.
With the newness and such of satellite radio, I'm not considering it an option in my immediate future. I don't like the looks of the add-on receiverrs, so I'd want a new headunit. So thats $300-400 for a receiver, plus $10-15 a month. Plus I don't think XM & Sirius are both going to survive. So until one or the other proves to be a strong enough to make it, I'll hold off.
