John's not online right now, you may want to just give him a quick call. He is normally very helpful.

Just talked to him. the price is 175.00 but if you order online before the price is updated on line, it is still 140.00.

600 to each will be ok but you might want to turn down the amp a little bit, I mean the BP1200.1 is going to supply at least 1200 watts rms...so just be careful not to turn the amp or sub level (controled through your HU) too high. Even if those subs did go with 1000wrms to them for 2hours, you're not looking for 2 hour subs, just wanted to throw that out there.

how do the stryke subs sound? i've heard nothing but praise but i guess where do they fit in the mainstream? i love finding great subs that nobody has heard of. like yesterday, i told my buddy i was gettin some subs in my car. he asked what kind. i told him stryke audio. his response was "where'd you get them...walmart?"

i heard that alot about 3 years ago when i bought audiobahn subs. they hadn't made it into the mainstream market yet. i sold them with my old car tho. i loved those subs. now they are too a tad overpriced compared to what you used to be able to get them for.

so i guess what i want to know is how will the AV's stand up against the more expensive, well known brands. needless to say i'm waiting in great anticipation to try thse out.....gotta wait till july 14th to ship tho....grrr.

The performance of the Stryke AV would probably be similar to the IDMAX with slightly lower thermal power handling. It would be a bit better than the RF HX2, IMO.
