OP 96ContourLX New CEG\'er 9 Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 19	I just recently brought a universal air filter for my 96 contour lx (V6 24V DOHC). My question lies in the air filter box. I'd notice a wire attached to it, I think it is a sensor, but I am not sure. Someone told me it is an air temperature sensor. My question is will my CEL light go on if it is removed? Is their a way to install the universal air filter with out removing the sensor? What do I do???
