Show me a car that was sold in the US with the SR20DET. Now show me an SR20DET putting out over 500HP. Ain't happening. The RICERS like to put that engine in light cars like the 240SX to make a cheap fast RWD car, that they can drift like in Initial D. You can tart up an old piece of crap, but it's still an old piece of crap.

"Ricers" dont put sr20det motors in the 240's because they are looking to make a "drift" car. They do it becasue they are the motor that was supposed to be in the car. In Japan the Silvia (which is the 240 here) has the sr20set. Also this very same engine is capible of putting out 500 hp on the stock crank with out damaging the engine. I know this as fact becasue I have seen this engine put through its paces at work. You should all speak before you type, go to any import website that has tunners that are worth a damn, the sr20det is well regarded everywhere.

The reason I listed these 3 cars was becuase in this same thread someone said the supra was one of the best cars to come out of japan and I mearly stated three others that many other people, including myself, would rather have. Finally, the Skyline and the s-15 are all here in the US. The have been imported in California for the last 8 years.

And if speed is all you car about then why not get a mustang of any year...you can build a stang to run as fast as a supra for a third of the price.

PLEASE dont call me a ricer, A$$, I have been a die hard Ford fan since birth...I Dont have GTR badges on my car and no gay a$$ wings or anything of the sort. It just so happens I happen to work for Japanese car company as a design engineer and somethies that makes me go against my "American Car" roots. I have seen may of these cars you all drool over tested at work so trust me the supra doesnt rate that hard on my list of cars to have.
