I may have said those two bands , I also said the beetles , thats the only band i really feel is a good band for the ages. But I , nor anyone else is in any position to say whats the best band of all tiem. Music depends on moods.

i didn't see anyone say Aerosmith?.?.? They have got to be one of the best bands ever... They were making records before I was even born(i think..'83) and still are to this day...thats a freakin' accomplishment!

Aerosmith were one of the greatest before the early 90's. After that they went to crap. To many top 40 ballad/love songs, ie: Pink etc.

As a musician, all I can say is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I get off on all sorts of different stuff that a lot, if not most, of you would think is crap. A lot of stuff I listen to doesn't even have lyrics. It depends on who you are and how a song connects to you. Most songs are about love because it is fairly easy to write about and it is universal. Even people who haven't been in love can relate to some degree. That doesn't mean that it is the only stuff out there.
