Just curious. It's a pretty abstract album. I like it. If you haven't seen them in concert you need to. Unbelievable performance. Happy listening.
my favorite track of kid a is optimistic (well, tied with nation athem). i ALWAYS miss their performances vacations or prior engagements always [censored] me over... they are playing near me on the 20th of august, but i might be out of town for that too

This list is closest to what I consider good music. But I think of million better rap singers\groups. Ex. Eminem, 2Pac, Wu-Tang..... etc... etc.
One question FatMike, how can you have a name like Fatmike and NOT have NOFX as your favorite Punk Group? They are probably tied with Rancid in my book for favorite punk group. I guess I'd have to throw Op. Ivy in there too.

You can't say "best band ever" because you can't compare James Brown to The Ramones or to Megadeth...it's just plain impossible. Now you can pick for each genre...

maybe I am not cultured enough or that I just don't care about the older bands, but I would rather listen to The Ataris(older stuff) or alkaline trio, more of the underground punk bands.(oh yeah I liked the eagles and U2 as well) Johnny

sho'nuff, I love In Flames, a lot, but I wouldn't say they're one of my fave bands. In fact, I'm listening to some of their new shiz right as I type this. I love 'em. Meshuggah is pretty good too. Ill Nino kick ass too.

sweet, someone finally said tool. I put my vote in for them (though there are a few others). They were really one of the first hard rock bands to be hard, yet very musical at the same time. Damn I'm gonna go listen to lateralus now.
