Too much for the miles. I picked mine up for $1500 with 110k on the clock. Same year and an MTX.

Yeah but you STOLE yours...that's not the typical price

I'm selling mine. 89 MTX and being the head honcho of the SVT/SHO Society I can safely say that it's had all the required maintainence plus a LOT more In fact I've won trophies at the Lansing Ford Show and the Birch Run show (which is a professionally judged show). I'm looking to get $3500 for it...rather than go into details I'll post a pic & if your friend is interested send me an email and I'll get you the full maintainence & custom/upgrade history.

I need to sell this car soon 'cause I want to get a new Spec V, but if I drive it much more I'm just gonna fall back in love with it and keep it!

It's new.
It's reliable.
It's affordable.
It's fun as hell to drive.
It's new.
Did I mention it's new?

I'm a big fan of Nissan these days. I'd like to have an Altima or a Maxima but they're both out of my price range. I can lease a Spec V for under $200 a month, it's a mid 15 sec. car with a factory LSD and handling grip to spare.

As Car & Driver put it... Cheap car with a big engine. Chris, I have to ask.. Have you actually driven a Spec V?

Duh...should've mentioned that!

Just rolled 131k. Had 117k when I bought it (3rd owner). 2nd owner was a local lady who bought it in 1999 with 77k. Don't know much about the original owner other than he was a bachelor in Indiana, and he only averaged 6k-7k per year. I'm thinking it was stored many winters because there was very little rust on it when I bought it. There still exists a few rust bubbles on the hood & a bit in the doorjambs but nothing like most 14 year old SHO's look

I'll go ahead & send you an email with all the work that's been done.

And yeah Mark, I've driven a Spec V
