Yesterday I decided to do the UIM/LIM cleaning. I didn't have a lot of time, so I pulled off the UIM and left the LIM in place for cleaning. I've got 90K miles on my 'tour so it was a mess in there. Used a shyt-ton of B-12 solvent and got her nice and shiney. I finished the cleaning and put it all back together (no left over bolts thank god). Tried to fire it up and it would not start. Sounded like it was getting a spark but couldn't get turned over. I figured I had flooded the engine with cleaner and left it overnight to drain out. Went back out there this morning - still no start! I nearly shyt my pants. I thought I had seriously screwed something up. I decided to keep trying to start it cause I did not know what else to do. After about 15 tries, it finally caught, idled real low and rough and stalled. Tried again and she started. What a relief! Lots of white smoke came out of the exhaust, burning off the cleaner I guess.

Anyway, there is a reason for this long-azz post. I want to let others know not to freak out if your ride won't start on the first try after doing the UIM/LIM cleaning. Maybe everyone know's this. I didn't and just want to share. That's all.
