I paid like $140 for a Steeda shifter ($105) and knob ($35).
I still have not received the knob but I have an Optimized (True) Short Throw Shifter from the reference of the driver.
Not just a shifter cut shorter and rethreaded with a polished reverse lever.
But if you have the tools, cut and thread is cheaper. You will save $32 to $170 and you will not have to worry about the ball and pin joint breaking off the bottom of your factory shifter.
Not that I have had any problems with my Steeda.
