Sorry, I don't know if you're the world's first. I have a leak in my intake system that sounds like a supercharger above 4500 RPMs. I have quite a bit of people that claim to be car experts believing that it's supercharged. As for the brakes thing, try cleaning with brake cleaner or if you can see that you have no pad left, follow horsedug's advice: new pads and rotors
