This is part of my 'mini-NOC' in the basement.
2x HP Kayaks (2x p2-300 w/512mb RAM)
Near one is my Exchange box, AD and primary LDNS.
Far one is where my burner and scanner hang off of.
Far machine is a my other AD box, secondary LDNS.
The AL case is my main machine with a P4-3.06G, 1GB RAM, with 500GB.
Behind the machines, on the floor are my 4 UPS, totalling 4000 KVA, powering up my network shelf (Bay 400T 24port switch w/2GE, Linky router and cable modem/bridge), and all of my computers. I also am in the process of rebuilding my array, now with 8x 50GB Ultra2 SCSI drives, brings me close to a TB just for this machine.
I also have a P3-933 here, another P4-3.06G, and 5 laptops w/WiFi (old, but perfect for surfing in the backyard). I am getting an old U5 to practice real DNS administration here at home, and for work. On the bench I have a new Exchange box to build, to make my Exchange farm.
