If something is consensual between two adults that seems different. I'm not gay but I have worked with gay people. I only had one bad situation where I had to use force to let the person know that I was not gay and didn't want to be.
Maybe now you can understand what it's like for a woman virtually every single day of her life.
Not too fun was it?
I don't know. Some women like sex more than most men do. I met a couple of beautiful French women in Cannes France that loved sex. I didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English but the sex was great. Sex is universal like music.

7999,
Were you more offended than if a women were pressing unwanted advances? If so, why?
I find it equally obnoxious for either women or men to make unwanted sexual advances on me. There's a population of women who think they can change a guy to straight. Unfortunately, you wouldn't want them either.

My take on things... FLAME SUIT ON
If they want to marry let them. How is it really going to change YOUR life?
I swear C.E.G should be changed to Conservative Encouragement Group. All this time and energy wasted on worrying about what OTHERS do is rediculous.
In regards to the comment about having sex with dogs. Who gave you the power to call another Human Being a dog? Here we go again waving the moral stick around. Next time make sure it hits YOU on the freakin forehead. /FLAME SUIT OFF

I was much more offended when the man tried to force himself on me. He was drunk, married, and so ugly that words could not describe him. I have never seen a good looking man. Only women are good looking.

I'll take it on. Nothing personal you know.
Here is how I feel about it. As long as there are large sums of money being taken from me by state and federal government and given to other people, I have a right to petition my government in order to persuade them to encourage or discourage certain behaviors.
I know it sounds cold hearted, hey I've never been known for compassion.
Much of my tax money goes to support others who choose poorly. Now I understand that children don't get to make choices, so I'm not against kids. But I am against social policy that I believe shirks responsibility.
Now before you get all up in arms, I'm NOT saying that gays are irresponsible.
However, if you smoke and get cancer, drink and can't keep your job, take IV drugs and burnout, eat fast food until you are 500#, engage in unprotected sex, I really don't think you have a right to expect society to bail you out.
If you are responsible and an accident happens (and I don't mean a broken rubber either) then society has the responsiblity to get you back on your feet.
If you live with a "devil may care" attitude, well to me I'm not so sure I want you supported with tax money.
So that is where the "don't tread on me" argument comes back to me. As long as people in society believe they have the right to tax me to further their social agenda, I too have the right to fight for my own social agenda. Otherwise, these folks are treading on my right to pick and choose what choices and behaviors to encourage or discourage.
Stop taking away nearly half of every additional dollar I make and I won't give a rat's patootie what you do with your life and your money.

I don't get it. On one hand, you imply homosexuals are inherently promiscuous. On the other hand, you don't want them to get married and be monogamous. Maybe I'm not understanding your argument.

I think homosexual marriage should be legal. I think they should have to suffer just like straight people!

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

LMAO!
I agree we shouldn't discriminate in this way. Who am I to tell someone they can't suffer the trials and tribulations of Job in a legally binding fashion with their partner in misery?
(Fortunately, my marriage has been one of FAR more ups than downs, but there have been times I've wanted to pull my hair out. I'm sure my wife is of the same opinion.)
Equal suffering for ALL!

I personaly think it is just another degradation of the marriage concept. It used to mean a man & women "death due us part" permanant basis for family building. An Oath before God (in many religions). The symbolic core of the family unit.
With divource rates exceeding 50%, affairs exceeding 70%, a drop in families having children, even public "oaths to God" are out..marriage vows have taken major hits. Now we can drop the man & women & God parts and make it.."Do you take this person, under God or whatever, to have sex with, until death do you part or you get tired of each other"
BTW< why stop at 2 people?? If same sex is allowed, what is the rational arguement for not allowing 3,4, or 20?
I am not against homosexuals, to the contrary it is like hair color or height..it is probably genetic and is seen with most species. It is simply "whom a person is". And I do not think it unreasonable to allow certain marriage benifits (tax, insurance benifits for example). And I certainly do not want to know the details of what happens behind closed doors, nor should the government. But, marriage is MORE than a insurance break or at least it WAS..
