It was mentioned in another post that Ford stopped put in hood liners to help with the heat problem that was cracking wiring harness. Is this ture and when did they start doing it. I have an E0, built on 5/9/97, and it has a hood liner. I dicussing my wiring harness problem with Ford. They say the CSPA #99M03 was only for 95-97 year models. I'm saying mine was built early in 97 and had a problem with the insullation breaking off the four wires that connect the battery to fuse box. So it should fall under this CSPA or what date or car VIN did the fix get install in.
