Yes it inside the valves on both the high and low pressure side, you put the r134a in the low side.
Since you said it is blowing hot air again take out the valves and replace the whole valve. When putting in the new r134a tightin the low side all the way and leave the high side just a lil open so it will push the air out of the line and then tighten it all the way down, and you should be good to go after about two cans.
