Well to open another chapter in my continuing saga, I took my car back to the mechanic that replaced all the previous items. He found the mass airflow sensor that he installed last week was bad and he checked my oxygen sensors, found they were burned up and replaced them. He told me to drive the car for several days and see how it was and come back in for more service if the car wasn't right or I presume settle up with him if he fixed the problem. While I hate spending more money, I guess paying for the oxygen sensors is worth it if it fixes the problem. He said that driving the car for so long with the lean fuel condition burned up the sensors. So far so good, driving last night and today to and from work. No check engine light, no dying, no rough loping idle. I hope gas milage is better, on my last tankful before the latest repair, I drove 165 miles between fillups.
