my devirginizing post... what's going on. so to the subject, weight reduction is not somthing that i think the contour is ment for, atleast not for the most of the people on this forum, taking out seats and spares doesn't count., the real wight is removed in sound deadning and tow hooks and cutting big holes in your stuff. bumpers. not bumper covers; replacing glass with lexan , taking out the support structure under the hood and trunk, removing hood and trunk hinges and tossing some ever so ricey hood pins, back seets in a 4 door, those can go, ac power steering , hopefully i gave someone some ideas, ok to the gas issue. mixed feelings in this department. if your running on empty there is less weight forcing fuel into your fuel pump, and under wide open throtle situations i think that this can make a difference, i guess it depends on fuel cell design, ofcorse a 5 gal cell will do ya good, but how about the 15 gal cell with a funnel at the bottom feeding the fuel lines.... i read somthing about a bigger maf i believe, to the best of my knowlege this'll just make you run lean as crap depending on difference in size, unless your ecu is modified to match.
