lexan could be used for a roal up application, but probably wouldn't be a the greatest idea, firstly it comes in flat sheets, and you would need a coustoum molded sheet to get a similar curve to stock so that the window would roal up properly and fit into the cill and form a proper water tight seal, window net's are light. i'd say also, if you've ever been to the local ice rink you'll notice that the glass is pretty scrached and not so transparent, i think the lexan would be affected similarly being repetedly passed through the weather striping and such assoicated with window opperation. not to mention the cleaning involved with kids in the back seat. i'd say before even considering this you should look into loseing a little comfort and taking apart your doors, i'd say take off everything possible, then you'll need a braket to hold up the electric controals, and a pad on the door handle would be nice
as far as the fuel cell goes, if your looking into replacing your stockone with somthing smaller, keep in mind that you'll need to be pulling over for gass between every soccer game. but you will easily be able to make some brakets and mount a smaller unit into the bigger hole, but by doing this, or taking weight out of the rear end of a front engine car, you have to take into account oversteer. so some stiff shocks and springs and sticky tires, all the suspension stuff will be necessary to keep the car streetable, i'd say you'd need to strip out everything behind the drivers seat before this became to important, but good suspension is always nice,
anyone got a energy suspension bushing kit?
