Yeah I know, kinda sad i remember that song, but we didn't have a toys r us here when I grew up so I practically idolized that place as a child. Heaven on earth.
On topic.....dude, that sucks. I hope to never have a job that requires me to do that.

Yeah thats like the 80's song, but there was a song in the second half of the 90's that had somewhat different lyrics. Or maybe i'm mixing it up with the disnyland/world commercial song. ANyhow it was something about not getting a job and working in july or something.

I'll concur that living the "college" life is Fantasy Island compared to life outside of a campus. A proper attitude can help, but it doesn't change the fact that in most cases a full-time student as compared to a full-time worker has got it "made in the shade", in terms of responsibilities, time on their hands, etc.

I just finished my AA a couple weeks ago. I work 10-6, go to physical therapy on Wed and Fri mornings before work(because of car accident), have company meetings on Mon and Thurs before work, babysit my 6 month old son after work while my wife is at work, and have been taking full loads of college classes. My only time off is on Tues and Sun (don't work those days) and get to do either homework, mow the lawn, go to the gym, wash cars, and all the other crap I don't have time for during the rest of the week. I'm not tooting my own horn because I still feel privilaged, but it is alot harder than all my friends that just go to college full time.
