Nice looking, and decent interior, although he has had some problems with it , and now wants to get rid of it.Laters Griffin

170hp and fugged up 6speed. Not going to touch an SVT or even an SE. Like high 7 sec. cars. I do like the looks though.

I thought they were 181 hp. Did Hyundai overrate hp and have to revise too?
170 hp out of 2.7 L for a DOHC 24V V6 is pathetic in 2003.
Even Chrysler can do 200 hp out of 2.7L...

Yea well Honda started out the same way. Cheap economical cars. Look at them now.

Just drive one, you will help yourself right out of it. I drove 2 of them, one a 5-speed, one a 6-speed. the 6-speed tranny SUX. I was hunting for gears, too (never had that problem with a Trans Am Hurst 6-speed). Besides that, the 5-speed is a bit lighter, and felt faster to me. Cramped interior is an understatement. Feels like you are in a coffin(might be a good reason for that if you line up next to an SVT, or even my wife's Saturn, for that matter). I didn't think that they were worth $20-25k, either. But they look nice, especially in my rear view mirror. -Tavis

My g/f has had a 4 banger Tibby for about a year now. It's been in the shop about 6 times so far (no kidding). The sunroof motor died, the passenger window wouldn't seal shut, the a/c stunk, wheels are already corroded, hatch cover clip broke, clutch feel is terrible, etc...
Oh yeah, the blind spots are awful and if you like resting your arm on the door sill, forget about it in that car unless you wanna stiff neck.
It's a nice package and all, but there are better choices.

If you love it so much, you might want to think about getting the spelling right...
