Actually, I'd say this guy has more mod because all the 14.72 SVT had was a K&N. He also said that he made that 14.69s run without his friend inside the car. It's possible he's not telling the truth, but the number isn't far out of reach neither. I would like some video proof of that trap speed in a basically stock car. I know it won't happen, but...
Hell I can post timeslips showing 11 second runs if you think it will help people believe I ran 11 seconds.
I have some in the low 14's too if that's more believable.
It's the trap speeds that are so out of whack.
Why doesn't someone try to explain that for a change...
Basically he accelerated as fast as a S/C SVT the second half of the track!
Not too mention the facts I brought up about the 14.72 run having a 2.0x 60' Are you just going to skip that hard fact too???
That would equate to "Tommy" running a 14.3 at 100 mph, if he hooked up, in a basically stock SVT.
Bullsh^t!
How about some answers and some proof...

Like it was said, hes not here to brag, I mean damn! Hes telling us that his car is busted and is asking for help, I hardly see him saying that he did something stupid and broke his car to be him b.s'ing... As far as getting them to go for a quaife, good luck with that. As long as the warranty is through Ford, they are almost always going to use their own parts to fix it (I say almost always just to cover my @ss, Ive never heard of them using aftermarket parts to make repairs like that) Your best bet would be if they dont cover it to get the quaife, but that is going to run $600 in parts, nevermind the crap load of labor that you will be paying if you cant/dont do it yourself... -Nick

I charted Tommy Boy's run versus my time slips and the traps seemed reasonable according to the chart. Of course, they were all much quicker. My best was 15.7 on a hot summer day and I was NOT trying to break anything.
