Why do some people replace their 2.5 duratec with the 3.0? I thought the 2.5 in the svt was a great engine and you could do awesome mods to it. Please explain this to me. I just want to know if i'm wasting money on my contour svt 2.5 engine in mods. Thanx to whom ever responds.

Cheap to find a donor block/engine, 500cc's extra displacement, 2.5's tend to spin bearings. 20 more lbs. of torque.
