i just checked it, and it was fine. all dry.

are you sure its only 4 at a time? Then how was i able to put in half a quart, and hear it pour out the drain?

what should i do, dont tell me i just blew 11 quarts of new fluid down the drain.

I just drained somethin, and it was more like urine in my pants. Could this have damaged it even more? What should I do now, drain again, and buy new fluid, and refill with totally new fluid? God im such an idiot. I read in an archive that that is all i have to do. A guy at murrays said it is just like changing the oil. I put two and two together and I got rammed up the a$$.

sorry about the double posting, i didnt know where i should post it, and now im just updating in both.

Drive the car at least 15 miles to warm up the tranny.
While the Engine is running and the tranny in PARK,
pull out the tranny dipstick and wipe it clean.
Insert the dipstick fully and then pull it back out.
Read the oil level on the stick.
If it is 1/4" or less past the full mark you are fine.
Any more and you will need to drain some oil.

It sounds as if your Torque Converter is overheating, and slipping when it is supposed to be locking up.
This can be caused by the pump losing pressure either to the Valve Body, if the valves are worn,
or the sump pickup, if it is clogged with debris.
This in turn allows the Torque Converter to malfunction and slip,
burning out the lockup clutch and overheating the tranny oil.

Either way, there is only one thing you can try...

On top of the tranny is a Range Selector Sensor.
It tells the Computer when the transmisison is in gear, and what gear it is in.
If this is worn, it *may* cause your problem.
You can replace it, along with the TSS Sensor, and see if it solves your problem.
If it doesn't, then you're looking at a tranny rebuild.

i guess just drain 4, hopefully more than that will come out. check fluid level after draining. if below full, fill to full. if at or above full. turn on car and shift through gears and drain 4 more. then fill with 4. and do that all a few times. make sure u'r putting the drain plug back in when filling. and uhhhh.... uhhh. good luck.
