I've got Infinity's in every door. It took a little cutting and a 1/2'' thick plywood ring in order to clear the glass. The 3.25'' mounting depth sounds right.

I got mine from CarStereoTime.com. $165. MUCH less than Crutch.

BTW, they need their own amp in order to sound good. In-dash decks just can't drive them properly.

ben but your running 6x9s, likely having more install depth than the 5x7s. i've been thinking of a 4 channel amp but need to slow down w/ the spending. the new hu amp will have to do for now. but i agree

I need a little help. What's the difference between the infinity 5752cf, the 6802, and the one you mentioned, the 572.5? The 5752 is on sale for 59.99 from Crutchfield, and the have to sound less like azz than my stock ones.
Infinity Ref.
Can I still use my stock deck with these? That will go later.

From Crutchfield:
"For $90 more, the Infinity Kappa 572.5cf features:
â?¢ Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm tweeter
â?¢ C.M.M.D. woofer
â?¢ more power handling
â?¢ external 2-way crossover
â?¢ 3-year warranty"

If you can afford the 572.5, I highly recommend them. External 2-way 18db/oct crossover and better low end frequency response. Best price I found was $78/pair, and a bunch of places for $85/pair including Etronics.
