First time I'd ever done any of this stuff. I'm pretty sure the sub is sealed well and everything is wired correctly (preout, RCAs, power, ground, fuse, etc.) but we'll find out soon enough.
The amp was not powered; so I checked up front and the fuse was busted. The head unit was powered and playing the front speakers at least.
So I'm going to pick up a new fuse...wish me luck.
